ANGAU Hospital is in the process of rebuilding its Northern housing compound.

Demolition of the old building have taken place including the removal of asbestos. The management is working closely with the CSTB to select a contractor that can start building on site.

The Residential Medical Officers units and other residential units are also in the process of undergoing renovations on the Southern Housing site. The site has been cleared and our facility team are on site to improve the buildings.

The project is funded by a PNG government grant to the hospital for infrastructure development and maintenance. These development undertaken by the hospital Board and Management is parallel with the major redevelopment that will raise the standard of ANGAU hospital from a level 4 to a level 6 national referral hospital in the country.
