Staff undergo Public Service Induction

A total of 51 staff from the Hospital and the Lae School of Nursing were officially inducted into the Public Service by the Hospital Human Resource Team and Trainers from the Morobe Provincial Government.

The week long training was facilitated by ANGAU Hospital Human Resource Trainer Sr. Bing Titus, ANGAU Hospital Staff Development Officer Mrs. Rose Oresi, ANGAU Hospital Personnel Officer Mr. Ronald Lami, ANGAU Hospital Staff Development Officer & Public Sector Workforce Development Program Master Registered Trainers Mr. Moses Siaguru and Mr. Meluk Kusak from the Morobe Provincial Administration.

Participants came from the three directorates of ANGAU Hospital and also from Lae School of Nursing as it was a prerequisite before public servants are confirmed as permanent officers in the public service the participants were taken through the General Orders of the Public Service where they familiarised themselves with Public Service Rules and Regulations.

ANGAU Hospital Staff Development Officer & Public Sector Workforce Development Program Master Registered Trainer Mr. Moses Siaguru said the training was important as it prepared Public Servants for the public service and ensured they were equipped with better understanding of the Public Service General Orders.

Staff were also presented with a certificate of participation after the completion of the training program.
