A private institution’s commitment and support to a service delivery organization is very important.
Panamax Pacific LTD through its Marketing department are at the forefront of this by supporting the ANGAU hospital in preparation for World Health Day 2017 at the Hospital.
The support was in the form of 3 cartons of waswas soap, 2 cartons of max soap, 2 cartons of softlove smart pants, 1 carton of 50 grams anchor butter, 3 cartons anchor 1 litre milk, 2 cartons blue sea mackerel 425 grams, 2 cartons hello kitty softex, 3 cartons sudso 5kg powder, 2 cartons B29 24 grams and 1 cyclone laundry detergent carton with 20 t-shirts soft love branded valued at a cost of K2, 500.00.
ANGAU Hospital Quality Assurance Officer Steven Nawik thanked Panamax Pacific for the donation highlighting public private partnerships and commended the organization where he stated organizations supporting public institutions these days were very difficult however ANGAU Hospital as very fortunate in having Panamax Pacific as a partner.
Panamax Pacific Mamose Regional Manager Ian Jonah Towarap said the company would continue supporting the hospital through many initiatives and these was just the beginning with support to be provided to the hospital through many other avenues.
In another separate event, Panamax Pacific LTD staff also donated diapers, refreshments and exercise books to patients at the Paediatric Ward.
Marketing Coordinator Mr Simontha Hani when donating the goods also did awareness on their products and its benefits along with fake products.
“Panamax would continue supporting the Hospital and through these donations it highlighted their close relationship with the hospital,” Mr Hani said.
Sr. Betty Mundua from the Infection Control Unit of the Hospital also thanked the company and added that the donations would go a long way in helping patients and guardians.
