Christmas is a time of giving and reflection where people reflect and thank the creator for the blessings of the year and reflect on what they have achieved.
Wopa Construction a PNG Company through its community awareness program took time of its busy schedule when they donated 50 show bags of assorted toys to the patients at the children's paediatric ward.
Company representative James Mininga on behalf of owner Mr Fred Wak said the company was busy in its operations however that did not deter them from donating and presenting gifts to the wards as a sign of goodwill, caring and generosity.
Mr Mininga said Christmas was a time that family's came together to celebrate and it was unfortunate for these patients to spend it in the hospital, however with the gifts donated they hoped these would bring hope, happiness and laughter to the sick children.
He also extended his thanks to Paradise foods for providing show bags, biscuits and beverages saying without their support this donation would not be possible.
